welcome to RICHTER

We are a NGO – non government organization and an experienced one – because we have started already in 1987. Believe us, we could tell you lots and lots of stories about us. But to keep it short and interesting here’s just a couple of essentials Richter Headlines.                                              

We are involved in arts – Richter runs a non profit art gallery organizes different kinds of art workshops (theatre, video, photography, collage and more) for Den Helder’s youth. At local level we cooperate closely with DAC (Dag Activiteit Centrum), Youth work Den Helder and with Scholen aan Zee and use our creative power here.

Because we love culture so much we are a bookcrossing zone.

We work internationally – Richter has been for years an organizer or co-organizer of youth exchanges, trainings and seminars all around Europe and further. What you have probably guessed by now – we mainly work with youth. However we do not like to be pigeonholed – so we got ourselves involved in Grundtvig projects. We support volunteering as much as we can. This is why a very important part of our activity is EVS (European Voluntary Service) both sending and hosting. We also cooperate with youngsters from the Netherlands and send them thoughout Europe without any hesitation.
